Classroom Management 

  Our class created a social contract. We agreed upon the expectations of the desired behaviors for our class communities. The contracts are based on our four major categories listed below we call SOAR:

S = Safety

O= Ownership

A= Achievement

R= Respect


If a student violates the social contract, the teacher will ask the students the following questions:

What are you doing?

What are you supposed to be doing?

Are you doing it?

What are you going to do about it?

This provides the student a chance to self-correct his or her behavior.
