About the Teacher 

 About Ms. Suggs!!

Education: I graduated from Delta State University in December of 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I later returned and graduated with my  Masters of Science in Elementary Education in December 2019. I have an endorsement to teach math grades K-8th.

Experience: This is my fourth year teaching and third year at HLIS. I am so excited to be apart of HLIS and begin this amazing journey with my students. I have taught math and science all four years!

Bio: My name is Veronica Suggs and I am from Oakland, MS. I graduated Valedictorian from Coffeeville High School in 2013. I attended Delta State University where I received a Bachelors of Science in Education (K-6) with an endorsement to teach math 7th-8th grade. I returned to school to earned my masters in Elementary Education from Delta State. This is my fourth full year teaching and it has been a exciting experience so far. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family. I also enjoy shopping and playing sports (basketball and softball).
