Teresa Brown

All About Me 

Hello, my name is Teresa Brown, and I have been in the education profession over 27 years. I have been with Horn Lake Intermediate School's 3rd Grade team since 2019.

Education/Background

I graduated from Delta State University with a Bachelors degree in Education and a minor in Business and Law. I am qualified to teach K-8 grades, all subjects. 

This School Year

This year our third grade team is self-contained, which means I will teach your child all subjects. Our daily schedule is as follows; literacy block from 7:40-10:00, recess from 10:05-10:25, lunch from 10:25-10:50, activity from 11:00-11:40, phonics from 11:45-12:15, math block from 12:15-1:45, and science/social studies from 1:45-2:15.

Important Information

Please check your child's binder every day. Homework will go home on Mondays and be due on Thursdays. Graded paper folders will go home every Wednesday, and they should be signed and returned the following day.
