     - Multiplication & Division Patterns

     -  Multi-Step word problems using all operations

      - Review of 3rd grade fractions

District Case 21 Math test is the week of Dec 5th

We have 3 math checkpoints (tests) this nine weeks. They are:

Checkpoint #1 10/26 ( Division including Word problems) 

Checkpoint #2 11/10 (Factors & Multiples, Prime & Comp, Multiplication & Division Patterns)

Checkpoint #3 12/7 (Multi-step word problems using all operations)

These dates are tentative and may change sometimes.

About the Teacher/Welcome Message

Education: I graduated with my Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Memphis State University. After working in the corporate world for ten years, I went back to school to earn my Master's Degree. I earned my Master's of Arts in Teaching from the University of Memphis. Go Tigers!

Experience: I have been teaching for 16 years. I have taught grades Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade,, 3rd grade and now 4th grade.

Bio: I am married to my wonderful husband Bryan. We have three daughters. We also have one dog and two cats.

This is my sixth year at HLIS. I  taught 3rd grade Math/Science before moving to fourth grade Math/Science. I am so excited to be here. I love my little Eagles. We will work hard and learn lots this year!

Students last day of the 1st semester will be Friday Dec. 16th

Holiday Party will be Friday Dec 16th.

Students may bring a water bottle to use during class.
