Please see the list of questions you can ask your student when they are reading both literary and informational text.

All About Mrs. Hibbler!

Welcome to my class website! First, I would love to share a little bit about myself with you! I am originally from Sardis, Mississipi. Almost 4 years ago, my family and I decided to move to a quiet area in Desoto County. I have two beautiful children! Karwanie is 7 years old and Kylee is 3 years old. I love spending time with my children, eating out, watching movies, and siting outside on nice days. I love to learn new ideas and teaching strategies that I can use in the classroom to promote student learning, I am very friendly, and I don’t mind helping out in any way possible.

I recently graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction (M.Ed.). I have been teaching for 8 years! I’ve taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. This is my third year teaching 3rd grade at Horn Lake Intermediate.

Message to Parents and Students!

I hope that you and your family are all doing well  during this uncertain time. I want everyone to know that students' safety is my number one concern this school year. Please remember to wear a mask, stay 6 feet apart if possible, wash/sanitize your hands as often as possible, and don't touch your face. If you can remember to follow these guidelines, we can help prevent the spread of Covid. Also, don't forget to stay home if you're feeling sick. We will make sure that you don't miss any assignments while you're out.

If you need to contact me, you can contact me through SchoolStauts or my school email (lynette.lark@dcsms.org). The most important thing that I want everyone to know is that I'm here for y'all in any way possible. Let's have an awesome school year!
