I have Bachelors Degree in Elementary/Special Education from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA.

Experience

I began my teaching career teaching in 6th-grade Special Education.  Then I taught 2nd-grade in a New Orleans' suburb before moving to Hernando, MS, where I taught Language Arts at Hernando Middle School.  After a long period of rearing my children at home, I returned to the workforce.  I was a School Attendance Officer, with the MS Department of Education for years before returning to the teaching profession.  I joined the Horn Lake Intermediate School team in March, 2016.

Bio

I have been married to Gary Beasley for 41 years.  We have four children - Adam, Aaron, Hannah, and Madison. I also have 7 grandchildren. One is in heaven. I have one great-granddaughter as well.  I love to spend time with family and friends and enjoy listening to audio books.
